A Guide: Stats To Address the Most Common Championship RB Questions

This is my first post, but I've been looking at A LOT of stats and I've seen this question or something similar close to a million times within the last few days. I myself am stuck in this exact conundrum, so I figured I would help out the Reddit community while gaining some knowledge as well. Here is a comprehensive list of season stats per team, weather conditions, and miscellaneous game info. I hope this helps most of you make a decision and brings home the chip!
WEATHER:
Minnesota Vikings vs. GB Packers: DOME
Oakland Raiders @ LA Chargers: Carson, CA 1:05PT, Partly Cloudy with 50% chance of showers, 90% chance of showers (up to half inch) after 5PM. SE Winds 10-15mph.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ NY Jets: E Rutherford, NJ 10:00PT, Sunny, 46 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation. WSW Winds 5-10mph.
BETTING LINES:
GB vs. MIN 46 (Vikings -5.5)
OAK vs. LAC 45.5 (Chargers -7)
PIT vs. NYJ 37 (Steelers -3)
DEFENSE:

LA Chargers 22nd 1544 11 103.4 4.1
OAK Raiders 20th 1481 13 118.8 4.1

OAK Raiders 4.3 60% 17% 19th 19th
PIT Steelers 4.56 52% 24% 24th 24th
CONCLUSION:
Obviously, this is an opinion based on statistics and definitive assumptions that all players will be given the start (mainly referring to Boone).
Before I make my pick I will make some quick opinion notes:
All that being said, my pick to win you your championship is...
Mike Boone (MIN): If we make our decisions based on points, defense, offensive lines, and usage, it can be assumed that Boone would have the most opportunity for points. Not only does Green Bay allow the most rushing yds to the position, but the Vikings have the perfect set up for the starting RB to have the highest opportunity for big plays/RZ conversion. Very rarely does the MIN O Line allow for RBs to lose yds, making Boone a viable option for positive gains. We don't really have a good sample size since he's the 3rd stringer; however, Zimmer likes his RBs to be identical clones even down to the hairstyle. Cook is 5'10/209 lbs, Mattison 5'11/220lbs, and Boone 5'10/205lbs. This is relevant because we can assume the usage would be similar, if not the same, as Cook. I need to clarify that I do not believe Boone is as talented or better than the other two Minnesota backs, but he is going into this game with a positive game script. Although Boone did not receive for yardage during week 15, we cannot dismiss the opportunity for rush attempt volume, goal line carries, and points allowed by defense to the RB position. If PPR is a deal breaker for you, Conner no doubt has the best hands, but we lose out on the upside of a competent OLine, playoff seeding game, and high implied point total. It should be noted that Green Bay is currently sitting 14th against the pass and 6th against the QB. In other words, Cousins will be looking to get the ball out quickly; making it safe to assume we'll see plenty of rush attempts. In the end, I truly believe Boone is the safest play this week - again, assuming all goes according to plan. Keep an eye on the reports for the rest of the week in regard to the unrevealed Mattison injury.
In the event you do not have Boone, or Mattison surprisingly makes an appearance, my ranked list is as follows (note: this list does not reflect ALL RB2/3 players - only those inquired in the comments):
  1. CMC
  2. Saquon Barkley
  3. Derrick Henry
  4. Ezekiel Elliott
  5. Chris Carson
  6. Joe Mixon
  7. Nick Chubb
  8. Mark Ingram II
  9. Mike Boone
  10. Leonard Fournette
  11. Alvin Kamara
  12. Aaron Jones
  13. Miles Sanders
  14. MGIII
  15. Todd Gurley II
  16. Kenyan Drake
  17. Austin Ekeler
  18. Marlon Mack
  19. Washington
  20. Conner
  21. Singletary
  22. Mostert
  23. Philip Lindsay
  24. Lev Bell
  25. Devonta Freeman
I hope this helps some of you out when making a decision for this weekend. I wish you all the best of luck during your week 16 championship matchups! Let's win this thing!
Note: All data comes from AccuWeather, Football Outsiders, Fantasy Footballers, Pro Football Reference, CBS sports, and the NFL.
EDIT: Thank you all for the positive feedback and faith in my research. Due to high demand, I added a number other players that were frequently asked about on this thread to the final rankings just above. Pass along edit nicely to those I have not responded to. Unfortunately, I'm on the west coast so the games will start soon. In order to get this info out to you quickly, I just added the requested players to the list at the bottom! I did the same research on the added players (e.g., weather, DST opp rank, Offensive Line rank, etc.). Good luck out there! It is the way.
Edit #2: It has come to my attention that Oakland is to be without Brown and Incognito on the O Line. Two massive parts of the Raiders offense, for that reason I moved Washington down significantly.

[Game Preview] Week 17 - Philadelphia Eagles(8-7) at New York Giants (4-11)

Philadelphia Eagles (8-7) at New York Giants(4-11)
While I think Godfather 3 is a terrible movie, I think a line from Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone sums up my feelings best with his line in the movie, “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!”. And much like that scene it may give me a heart attack in the end, but right now the Eagles control their own destiny. The only thing standing in their way is their division rival the 4-11 New York Giants. While the Eagles have won their last six meetings against their division rival, many of those games have come down to the final minutes and seconds, I think we can expect the same this week as the Eagles will be without Zach Ertz this week and Carson Wentz will once again be throwing to backups. He will get some help in the backfield with Jordan Howard returning to the lineup for the first time in a couple weeks giving the Eagles a true powerback to compliment Miles Sanders. Don’t be surprised to see the Eagles rely on the run this week to get the win against their division rival on the road. Go Birds!

Stats to Know
Deep Passing
On the season, these two teams have been rather unimpressive in the deep passing game, although there should be a distinction made between Manning and Jones at the helm for the Giants. In his 4 games this season, Eli has actually been near tops in the league of deep passing % (8th, at 13.6%), 5th in Adjusted Completion % (50%)—which accounts for drops—but 18th in Passer Rating at 89.6, which is to say that the fault has largely been on the receivers. Meanwhile, Jones falls at 26th in Deep Passing % (10.2%) 26th in Adjusted Completion % (35.7%), and 23rd in Passer Rating on Deep Balls (77.1). For the Eagles, Wentz comes in at 20th in Deep Passing % (12.0%), 12th in Adjusted Completion % (44.1%), and 26th in Passer Rating on Deep Balls (71.9), where the disparity between AC% and Passer Rating would indicate receiver fault, as well.
Matchups to Watch
Daniel Jones vs the Eagles Pass Rush
Last time these two teams faced off it was Eli Manning at the helm due to Jone’s ankle injury, but Jones returned last week to lead the Giants to a victory over the Redskins. The final game of his rookie season will be his first introduction to Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham whom have been a thorn in the side of Eli Manning since each have entered the league. Manning has responded by getting the ball out quickly and frequently checking the ball out to safety valves. It will be interesting to see what Jones does in his first game against the Eagles. Jones holds the ball a full .2 of a second longer than Manning on average and the 11th longest in the league tied with Josh Allen who the Eagles terrorized and sacked 4 times in their meeting earlier this season. If the Eagles pass rush starts getting to Jones early it could be a long day for the rookie especially if he starts turning the ball over.
The Giants secondary vs the Eagles Passing attack
The Eagles will again be out their top 3 wide receivers again as Jeffrey and Jackson are on the IR and Nelson Agholor has been ruled out again. This week Wentz will also be without his top target Zach Ertz who has been ruled out with a chest injury. Wentz was able to carry the team last week against another division rival in the Cowboys throwing for 319 yards and a TD passing to backup TE Dallas Goedert who was Wentz’s top target with 91 yards. Look for Wentz to lean on Goedert again along with Greg Ward who has been become a favorite and reliable target for Wentz since being brought up from the Practice Squad. The Giants have the 26th ranked passing defense and Wentz was able to pick them apart 3 weeks ago when he threw for 325 yards and 2 TDs in a similar situation with backups. He should be able to have a similar performance this week especially if he can get some help with the return of power back Jordan Howard, to help keep the Giants pass rush honest.
Jim Schwartz vs himself
Last week the Eagles defense was superb in shutting down Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. Schwartz went away from many of his tendencies. Rather than leaving his corners in cover-1 the entire game he mixed up coverages and utilized some stunts on the DL along with some well timed blitzes to keep Prescott uncomfortable. If Schwartz can employ a similar game plan against Jones it should lead to a win for the Eagles. However, time and time again after putting up a good game plan one week Schwartz slips back into his affinity for Cover-1 and hoping his DL can line up and beat their guys. If Schwartz falls back to this like he did in many of the losses this season Jones may end up with season highs in yards just like Fitzpatrick did this season for Miami where he picked apart Schwartz’s Cover-1 scheme. Let’s hope that is not the case and he and put the Eagles defensive players in the best position to make plays and win the game.

[Game Preview] Week 6 - Philadelphia Eagles(3-2) at Minnesota Vikings (3-2)

Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) at Minnesota (3-2)
The Eagles will look to take momentum gained from the last two wins into a grueling October 3 game road trip which will start somewhere they had success in the past. The Eagles will make their first trip back to US Bank Stadium since they defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl 52 to give the Eagles their first Lombardi trophy. The Eagles number 1 ranked rush defense will be put to the test this week as they face the 3rd ranked rushing attack in the league led by Dalvin Cook. If they can limit Cook and put the Vikings in long 3rd downs the Eagles DL will need to keep up the pressure on the QB following their 10 sack performance against the New York Jets last week. The Vikings OL made improvement in the off-season to fix the OL woes from previous seasons, but it is still a weak spot on the team. If the Eagles are able to get pressure on Cousins and force him to turn the ball over it could be big in the field position game. Mike Zimmer continues to put out strong defenses in Minnesota and this year is no different. The Vikings defense in ranked in the top 10 in most statistical categories and the Eagles look once again to be without Desean Jackson who miss his 5th game following an explosive debut in week 1. With Desean’s absence look for the Eagles to try to establish the run early with Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders and use a lot of 12 man personnel with Ertz and Goedert. It seems like the Eagles and Vikings having been played on a yearly basis now with Pederson getting the edge over Zimmer 2-1. Zimmer will try to even that up this week in what looks to be a hard fought game. Go Birds!

Eagles 21 - Vikings 23
Kirk Cousins threw for 301 yards and one touchdown, Linval Joseph returned a fumble 64 yards for a score and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Philadelphia Eagles 23-21 Sunday in a rematch of the 2017 season's NFC championship game. It was an ugly game for the Eagles offense as the offensive line again struggled to protect Carson Wentz and get anything going as the defending Super Bowl champions fell to 2-3. The Eagles attempted to rally from a 17-point deficit midway through the third quarter and were in great position to take the lead Eagles following a Roc Thomas dropped a backward pass that was recovered by Nigel Bradham at the Vikings 30 in the fourth quarter. But the Eagles continued to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties and another Wentz sack forcing a 4th and 20 with Doug Pederson electing not to let Jake Elliott try a 58-yarder. The Vikings got the ball back and extended their lead to two scores before the Eagles adding a late Ertz TD before failing to recover and onside kick for the loss.

Recap from Last Week’s Games.
Eagles
Video The Eagles entered the week 4 matchup against the winningless Jets who were once again without starting QB Sam Darnold. 3rd string QB Luke Falk struggled all day against the vaunted Eagles pass rush. After stuggling to get sacks in their first 4 games the Eagles exploded with 10 sacks, 3 of them from DE Brandon Graham which was a career high. The Eagles also forced 3 turnovers on the day 2 of which were taken for touchdowns. The first was an INT by Nate Gerry who had his second interception of the season. The next was by Orlando Scandrick who was playing his first game for the Eagles and came on a corner blitz ripping the ball from Luke Falk and taking it to the house. The Jets offense couldn't get anything going all day with their only score coming in the fourth quarter on a 19-yard run by Vyncint Smith after a muffed punt. e Eagles became the first team in NFL history to record 10 sacks and score two defensive touchdowns in a single game. Wentz added 189 yards and 1 TD to Zach Ertz and Jordan Howard added 62 yards and a TD on the ground.
Vikings
Video Following a lot of criticism Kirk Cousins got back on track vs the struggling Giants. He threw for 307 yards and 2 TD in a dominating performance.Dalvin Cook added 132 yards on the ground and the defense was dominate bring Daniel Jones back down to earth as the rookie was sacked 4 times and threw an interception while only managing 182 yards and a TD. The win came just a week after the Vikings (3-2) did little in a 16-6 loss to the Chicago Bears and Thielen insisted the team had to stop being one dimensional, relying solely on the run.The Vikings mixed it up with run and pass and came close to a 50/50 split and it paid off for the 28-10 win.

Philadelphia and Minnesota are split, 14-14 (.500), in an all-time series that dates back to 1962. The Eagles have won 2 of their last 3 games (.667) against the Vikings, as well as 7 of the last 10 (.700) and 11 of their last 14 (.786) overall.
This will be Philadelphia’s first regular-season game at U.S. Bank Stadium. The last time the Eagles played at the venue, they defeated New England, 41-33, in Super Bowl LII (2/4/18), which marked the first Super Bowl championship in franchise history.
Philadelphia owns the No. 1-ranked rushing defense (63.0). The Eagles also lead that category since 2016 (including playoffs), allowing just 90.6 rushing yards per game in that span. Philadelphia has not allowed 100+ rushing yards in 8 consecutive regular-season contests.
The Eagles rank 7th in the NFL in points per game (28.2), trailing only San Francisco (31.8), Tampa Bay (29.4) and L.A. Rams (29.2) in the NFC. Philadelphia has registered 30+ points in 3 of its first 5 games of the season.
The Eagles have produced the 2nd-best third-down offense (52.9%) in the NFL, behind Houston (53.2%). It marks their best third-down conversion rate through 5 games since the 2017 campaign (53.4%).
Philadelphia is also tied for 5th in the NFL with a 68.4% red zone TD efficiency, which is the team’s highest mark through 5 games since 2010 (75.0%)

Matchups to Watch
Vikings Passing Attack vs. Eagles Pass Defense
US Bank Stadium was really good to the Eagles not too long ago as the Vikings were gracious hosts when we brought the Lombardi to its rightful home. It was also the site of Choke Fest 2018, which saw the Vikings lose their Week 17 home contest, allowing the Eagles to make the playoffs instead. This year’s version of The Salt Bowl is an important matchup for both teams in the deep NFC between two talented teams. There aren’t many differences between the teams from last year to this year other than offensive philosophy. Mike Zimmer clearly thinks its 1970 and has the offense he desires for his football team after scapegoating John DeFilippo last year. This is a run first, hope-you-don’t-fall-behind-so-you-have-to-rely-on-Kirk offense that is pretty loaded at the skill positions. I don’t necessarily blame Zim for wanting to run more often than they did under Flip, but to neuter the passing game with Diggs and Thielen is borderline criminal. Regardless, the difference that can help the Vikings win is the same one that helped them win last year – passing. Diggs and Thielen are two highly-skilled, versatile, number 1 receivers that the Eagles aren’t very well equipped to handle. Sure, Rasul Douglas has been the best Eagles corner on the season and could hold his own as well as anyone could against these two while losing reps, but the talent available after him is troublesome. Sidney Jones is likely to get the start opposite Douglas this week; if not, it’s Craig James (bitch) job for the second consecutive week. Orlando Scandrick will likely get the start in the slot after going God Mode against the hapless Jets. Basically, this is a strong matchup that favors the Vikings. Malcolm Jenkins and Rodney McLeod are both playing at a high level which helps the Eagles since they didn’t have McLeod for this matchup last year. However, it is hard to hide one side of the field; it’s even more difficult when you face the Vikings top two receivers. Additionally, Dalvin Cook and this Vikings screen game is one of the best in the league. The Eagles defense hasn’t been that good at defending the screen. I know Zimmer thinks passing causes autism like vaccines, but the Vikings would be foolish not to take advantage of this matchup like they did last year.
Vikings Offensive Line vs Eagles Pass Rush
What helps a struggling secondary? Pass rush. The Eagles unit has been very slow to start the season and may not reach the levels it did in 2017. It was encouraging to see the defense put up 10 sacks against a unit they should dominate. The Vikings offensive line is still their most significant weakness and the Eagles defensive line can still murder them. Brian O’Neil and Riley Reiff are a decent tackle tandem and are playing better than they did last year. The interior of the Vikings offensive line has been cheeks on the young season. I think the addition of Garrett Bradbury will help the Vikings over the long term as he adjusts to the NFL. In the short term, his lack of size and power is very evident and damaging, especially in pass protection. Pat Elflein still hasn’t developed into anything decent and their other guard doesn’t matter since he isn’t good. This is an Eagles pass rush that is still good but not elite nor as deep as they once were. The slow emergence of Fletcher Cox has been a welcome addition as he works his way back from offseason foot surgery. Philly needs him to be impactful in a hurry. Brandon Graham is fresh off a career day. Josh Sweat is developing nicely. And Daeshon Hall is making good use of his limited snap. This defensive line need to bring it this week. The Vikings want to run and use play action boot off those looks; control the line of scrimmage and put the Vikings offense off script. Then they need to pressure and sack Kirk Cousins. Kirk is a poor QB under pressure and tends to be generous with the ball under some heat. Pressure and limiting the Vikings rushing attack by winning up front will help force the Vikings into situations they don’t want to be in allowing the Eagles the opportunity to create extra plays for their offense. It always starts up front for the Eagles and this week that need is amplified.
Vikings Pass Defense vs Eagles Passing Offense
The Vikings enter the game with one of the better rush defenses in the NFL. That has been a common occurrence for the Vikings in the Zimmer era. This is a defense that is very good in pass defense but not unbeatable. The problem for the Eagles in this contest, and every subsequent contest without DJax, is the limited deep threats outside. Howie Roseman didn’t do enough this offseason to ensure enough speed at the skill positions. Desean Jackson is still the elite deep threat he has always been but are not close to capable of replacing him. Alshon Jeffery is still the reliable receiver he has been but isn’t a vertical receiver. They’ll need him to play against the Vikings the same way he seems to always moss them. Zach Ertz figures to have a key role in this game after accumulating 18 receptions, 203 yards, and a TD in the last two games against this Vikings team (from Kempski) – they’ll need it again. And Dallas Goedert’s presence in the offense alone puts the Eagles in more efficient looks. One player that could step up and actually do something worthy of the undue praise bestowed upon him would be Nelson Agholor. For a guy that does have talent, he doesn’t do anything. He barely outperforms Mack Hollins, who’d rather play special teams. The Vikings secondary is talented but the CBs are underperforming, at least per PFF; the Vikings have no CBs in the PFF Top 50 (among CBs) in coverage grade. Their safeties are still great, but their CBs haven’t played to their usual talent level lately. There is an opportunity here for the Eagles to get their passing game going to a certain degree but is somewhat limited by their own personnel. I’m not arguing to abandon the run, but passing is slightly more favorable this week. Make their CBs improve. Get Barr and Kendricks isolated in coverage where they really struggle. Profit… as much as possible against this unit.
Vikings Defensive Front vs Eagles Offensive Line
This may be the best strength vs strength matchup in the NFL this week as it is in this game! The Vikings have a very good defensive front with (likely) the best EDGE duo in the NFL. Everson Griffen and Danielle Hunter are a versatile, powerful, athletic, and dominant duo that gives opposing offenses fits on a weekly basis. While Shemar Stephen and Linval Joseph do a great job anchoring the interior, they aren’t dominant rushers though forces against the run. Still, this is a front that can take over games. As I wrote in the Eagles case, this pass rush can help out the secondary and generally does. The Eagles have one of the top offensive lines in the NFL with the personnel fully capable of neutralizing this Vikings front. We’ve seen how this offense can operate when the OL takes over a game (Green Bay) – it can go a long way this week. Additionally, Kendricks and Barr are two guys that can blitz as effectively as any rusher from time to time. Zimmer is creative with his blitz and pressure looks. In a hostile environment, it’ll be important for the OL to have another cohesive performance. It’s always important to win of front and this particular matchup is porn for the trench warfare community.

(OC) Every nba team subreddit is pretty perfectly summed up by their top keywords

This all started because I was checking out subredditstats.com to see stats for ripcity. The way I see it is if you aren't a top contributer on your teams subreddit, then you are a casual nephew. Anyways, I started to notice a lot of the top keywords for ripcity were comically summing up the sub. That's when I noticed that you can see lists of others subs on reddit that match up based on keywords and the results were hilarious. Naturally I started checking every teams subreddit stats. Here are the results.

You are brand new to sports gambling and prepared to begin. Now what?
Beginning any new undertaking might be overwhelming initially, but a lot of times you’ll find it isn’t really that tough once you start grinding. That is true with sports gambling. Much like many other scenarios, it is ideal, to begin with, the fundamentals and builds from there:
Advantages of sports-betting: Sports gambling has ever turned into a blessing for every one of those countries that have ever entered. A clinic that has been illegal has become generating additional tax revenue. What’s more, occupations are and continue to be established in each new industry.
Steps to Start Betting on Sports: it may not be much easier to begin gambling on sports betting. Most operators are working out the legal niches, and enrolling in an account using them is just a snap. From that point, you are able to remove and add funds from the accounts easily and start researching chances.
The Mechanics of sports-betting: Among the coolest things concerning sports gambling is that you’re able to get as complex as you prefer at your own pace. It is possible to keep it simple and follow the fundamentals or dip in with both feet to boost your level of skill from the beginning. That is ultimately your decision personally; also there isn’t any wrong or right strategy. It boils down to a question of what is most effective for you personally.
Knowing the chances: that really is a place that could confuse those brand new to the match. A brief, chances inform one of that the suggested probabilities and possible yield for powerful wagers. For a simplified case, negative chances imply a well-liked and less yield potential. While favorable chances point out an underdog and also the capacity for larger yields.
For every one of those categories, there exists a ton more to comprehend proceeding forward. As you progress, you’re able to research issues, like chances, in a great deal more detail. Provided that those foreign notions will develop into something that you know well.
Sports betting can be exceedingly enjoyable, and additionally, there is the opportunity to earn a profit whilst doing whatever you like. That is clearly a win-win scenario, however, additionally, it is critical to get into it using a transparent mind.
Almost always there is the prospect of hitting a significant parlay you are likely to have rich using overnight. A sports betting is hard and maybe quite a grind, but that is also part of this allure. Begin sports gambling using realistic expectations sufficient reason for a laser-like give attention to being more disciplined. For all those not used to the match, you need to think about the money you’re wagering as a portion of one’s entertainment budget.
Just bet what you’re comfortable gambling and do not exceed this amount. There’ll be a lot of time and energy to enlarge your bets as your skills improve; therefore there is no requirement to dash it as long as you are learning. Last but most certainly not least, bear in mind this is something which you ought to discover entertaining and fun. In case it stops sense like this — or in case you struck on the inevitable losing series — you shouldn’t be reluctant to simply take a rest. Having a step backward and forth representing somewhat will permit you to tweak your approach and plan where required. Obtaining a breather and obtaining additional view might cause one to feel rejuvenated if you are prepared to play.
Sportsbook operators are for-profit entities. Therefore, they are not only providing a gambling market place out from the goodness in the hearts. The target for these may be exactly the very same as you: to earn money. Novels that do not accomplish that goal won’t be around as long. Odds-makers who always have a beating will gradually be trying to find a fresh field of work. Nevertheless, the overwhelming bulk of operators that are established are excellent at what they’re doing.
They turn into a profit as an outcome. Therefore, just how do they accomplish so? Sports-books earn money by the commissions that they collect for shooting action on stakes. That can be known as the vig or even juice. Let us consider a good illustration working with a normal group of point spread odds of -110.
In case your bet is more correct, you are going to reunite 0.90, and that’s the own 0% bet and a benefit of .90. So just why not double your funds? That is since the bookmaker has essentially maintained a proportion of their yield for themselves. Additionally, think that the operator can also be taking bets on each side of the equation.
In an ideal environment, they’ll receive even actions on each side. 1 / 2 of those stakes will likely triumph, as the spouse will probably soon lose. The internet of the things they collect, no matter what they cover out, reflects profit. Obviously, maybe not all of the stakes will bring even actions, which explains the reason you are going to observe chances move once they have been published. In case the book maker’s accountability using a single side of a result gets too great, they’ll create the likelihood a little more positive on the opposite hand to draw in more activity.
Mistakes Need to Avoid
Whenever you’re beginning with something brand new, it’s vital to see that there is going to soon be a learning curve. Mistakes will occur on the way, however, you are able to study on everyone and boost your general knowledge base.
If it comes to sports gambling, you are likely to make mistakes. You’ll miss something which appears obvious on your handicapping ahead of this match. Or you can set a bet on chances that unexpectedly turn into far more positive on the negative you’re leaning. It’s going to occur, and there is absolutely no solution to protect against every mistake. But, you’ll be able to prevent many big pitfalls which might create your sports gaming profession shortlived.
Do Not Chase Your Losses: You are likely to drop a few stakes. Any sports bettor who lets you know to win all of the time is not really being honest. When reductions happen, analyze the reason why suck it up and then proceed. Don’t make an effort to “get “ by Slimming down since you are “because of a win” Which is an instant recipe for tragedy.
Do not Bet On your mind: It is critical to own a crystal clear funding in mind for their own sports gambling console. Simply deposit that which you could manage to reduce, and also withstand the desire to go ahead when things are not moving away. If your long term budget has been gone, then simply take that as a chance to have a rest and return back into it having a transparent head.
Do not Be Unrealistic or over-estimate Your Skills: From nature, most sports fans are enthusiastic. Some people may take this for the extreme and feel as though they’re always right and therefore are not able to create a lot of money gambling. You shouldn’t be this guy or woman. Understand that you are going to have work to accomplish aside from your sports consciousness grade, and keep your profit aims reasonable.
Sports gambling can be considered a wonderful source of entertainment and also a potentially rewarding enterprise. Nevertheless, the probability of happening increases whenever you stop the aforementioned advantages.

[Game Preview] Playoff Edition Divisional Round - New Orleans Saints (13-3) vs Philadelphia Eagles(10-7)

Philadelphia Eagles (10-7) at New Orleans Saints (13-3)
The skin of a Treyvon Hester’s pinky saved the Eagles’ season last week as it altered the flight of the Cody Parkey field goal attempt just enough to cause the double doink and send the Eagles to the divisional game against the number 1 seed New Orleans’ Saints. On the Eagles last trip to the Superdome earlier in the season they took a beating of lifetime as the Saints rolled 48-7 running up the score and going for it on 4th down in the fourth when they were already in field goal range and up 3 scores. The Eagles will be looking for revenge and a win to send them back to the NFCCG and a chance to go back to the Super Bowl and defend their title. The task won’t be easy, the high powered offense run by Drew Brees and architected by Sean Payton have put up points at will this season averaging 31.5 points per game. The Eagles defense will need to play better this time around if they have any hope of pulling up the upset in New Orleans. The eagles will have some help Avonte Maddox who missed a majority of the first meeting with an injury has returned and played well of late and the Eagles got some reinforcements on the DL getting DT Timmy Jernigan back from the NFI list. The Eagles patchwork secondary has also become more in sync the past few games which should help. On the other side of the ball the Eagles will look a little different from their first meeting with Nick Foles under a healthy Jason Kelce who missed majority of the first game and healthy Lane Johnson. The Eagles have also returned Darren Sproles since their first meeting who has looked spry in his return to action adding another dimension to the Eagles offense. Both these teams are hungry to add another Super Bowl trophy to the collection. While Pederson said being in the divisional round was motivation enough, which may be true as many of the players on this team already have a ring from last season and know what is at stake. Payton took a different route wheeling in the trophy and 200K in cash presumably taken from the leftover Bounty Fund to motivate his team to win the next three games. No matter how they motivate their players though, the two coaches will be in a chess match Sunday with the winner moving on to the NFC Championship and a step closer to the Super Bowl. Go Birds!

Recap from Last Week’s Games.
Eagles - Video – In the battle of Reid’s Bastards, Pederson’s team struck first as the Eagles scored on a Jake Elliott field goal on the opening possession. The scoring went silent until a Nick Foles INT set up a FG for the Bears to bring the score to a tie, the Bears added another field to take the Bears into halftime up 6-3. The Eagles took the lead on their first possession of the second half with a Dallas Goedert TD before the Bears answered with a TD and FG of their own to take a 15-10 lead. The Philadelphia Eagles needed help to get into the playoffs, and Chicago provided it. The Eagles repaid them by knocking off the number defense for the second year in a row in the playoffs to send the Bears home. Foles lead the Eagles offense down field and scored a Golden Tate TD with under a minute to go in the game. The Bears marched down the field with a chance to answer and come away with the win on a last second field. Pederson iced Parkey on his first attempt when he lined up for his second shot. He lined up and kicked it with a slightly low trajectory, just low enough for the pinky of Trayvon Hester alter the flight and cause a double doink off the upright and cross bar. The Philadelphia Eagles needed help to get into the playoffs, and Chicago provided it. The Eagles repaid them by sending them home in the wildcare round as Pederson came out victorious in the Battle of Reid’s bastards.
Saints - Saints had a first round bye.

Tackling
Eagles fans have been loving the physicality of the Eagles defense, lately, and especially the comeuppance of LB Nigel Bradham and CB Rasul Douglas. Both have been indispensable and tackling machines, lately. Looking at the CBs - Of the 8 teams remaining in the playoffs, New Orleans features 3 CBs in the top 6 in terms of tackling efficiency (weighted by snaps), when looking at the 2018 regular season (Lattimore, Crawley, Williams. If you narrow that to the second half of the season, Rasul Douglas rises to #8. Looking at the LBs - Hicks and Grugier-Hill were the 4th and 9th-best in tackling efficiency, with Anzalone at 11th, Davis at 16th, and Bradham at 18th. If you're going to look at the 2nd half of the season to see who was on the rise, well Bradham didn't actually rise. That distinction falls to Craig Robertson, who was 5th, Anzalone at 10th, and Grugier-Hill at 11th. Hicks was 16th, Gerry 17th, and Bradham 18th. Run Stopping was Bradham's bigger strength, neck-and-neck with AJ Klein and Davis (9th, 8th, 10th, respectively for the regular season).

Fun Fact
More Eagles running backs have had 100-yard postseason rushing games at the Superdome in New Orleans than in any other stadium. Including their own stadiums! Wilbert Montgomery had the only Eagles 100-yard rushing game at the Vet (194 yards in the 1980 NFC Championship Game) and Brian Westbrook has the only one so far at the Linc (141 yards against the Giants in a 2006 wild-card game). But both Heath Sherman (105 yards in 1992 wild-card game) and Westbrook (116 yards in 2006 conference semifinals) have done it at the Superdome.
Matchups to Watch
Eagles Passing Attack vs. Saints Pass Defense
Thanks to Eagles great Cody Parkey, the Eagles have a chance for revenge Sunday in New Orleans. The Saints are a complete team and even if the Eagles were at full strength this would be a significant test for them. Both sides of the ball are playing and coaching well of late with some stability added to the Eagles back end. Despite that, the biggest matchup the Eagles need to win will be with their passing offense. The Eagles defense does have the ability to make some plays that can change the game but it will be a tall task given injury and Brees. Basically, the Saints should be able to score and the Eagles are going to need to keep up. The Saints enter the contest with a top flight run defense by yardage surrendered and yards per carry which plays into the Eagles hands since they aren't an effective run offense. The simple truth is you throw to score points and get a lead then rush to keep the lead and bleed the clock. The Eagles will need Foles to play a much cleaner game than he did outside of the final drive last week. Fortunately, he'll have the benefit of facing a worse, but solid, pass defense. The Saints do have talented pieces in their secondary with second year pros Marshon Lattimore and Marcus Williams. After those two the matchups become more intriguing for the Eagles. It's no secret the Eagles struggled mightily to incorporate Golden Tate into the offense but it appears that the coaches have finally made him a useful part of the offense. The shift to 12 personnel to close and save the season was a breath of fresh air but the Eagles beat the Bears with heavy 11 personnel. This was smart as it allowed the Eagles to best attack where the Bears defense was relatively weak. Since the Beatdown on Bourbon, the Saints have allowed an opponent passer rating of 80.3 with 5.6 yards per attempt and an average of 8.3 Air Yards per attempt against 11 personnel. Compare that to a passer rating allowed of 107.2 with 8.2 yards per attempt and an average of 13.3 Air Yards per attempt out of 12 personnel and you can see where the cracks in the pass defense are. Given the depth of receiving options for the Eagles and the questionable players on the back end for the Saints, it's possible we'd see an uptick in 12 personnel to take advantage of weak safety play from players not named Marcus Williams and questionable coverage LBs. But the Eagles are multiple out of every personnel grouping and can really give the Saints defense fits with what they do. Furthermore, the short passing game serves as an extension of the running game so we'll see a diverse attack against the Saints. New Orleans is very likely to score in the contest so the Eagles offense needs to be the one to carry the defense in this showdown. They have the opportunity, coaching, and talent to do so.
Eagles Defensive Line vs. Saints Offensive Line
t all starts up front for the Eagles in this contest as it does for the Saints as well. This is a strength v. strength matchup that the Saints won with ease last time surrendering only 1 QB hit and a handful of pressures. That cannot happen to the Eagles again this week. The pass rush will have to have some impact in order to throw off the Saints pass rush. Drew Brees will go down as one of the best QBs in the history of the sport but like every QB in the NFL his production dips against pressure. Brees is one of the best QBs under pressure but pressure forces fewer successful plays and even negative plays. Unfortunately for the Eagles they face a Saints OL that should have all of their starters ready for contest. Armstead is an elite tackle and Ramczyk is a very good right tackle; both are very good in run and pass protection. PFF LVP Andrus Peat is a good LG and Center Max Unger had an All Pro caliber season. It's a good group that is well coached. There have been some cracks in production lately for the offensive line as they suffered some injury so it'll be wise to pay attention to how they all play coming out of the bye. Depth along the DL for the Eagles isn't as great as it normally is but the unit is playing as well as it could be at the most important time. They'll need to be active and disciplined to defend the air and ground attacks of the Saints. The greater impact must come against the pass in order to throw the Saints offense out of rhythm.
Eagles Pass Defense vs Saints Passing Offense
If the Eagles are going to pull off the upset they are going to need to have one of their stronger performances of the year on the back end which is a tall task. In their first meeting, Schwartz elected to double team Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara repeatedly. This lead to predictable man to man across the board and forcing everyone else to win their 1v1 matchups. Yeah. This week that won't happen again since we do have warm bodies to build a game plan after learning a valuable lesson. Michael Thomas is fresh off of 1st Team AP honors with an 85% catch rate; the Eagles don't have a CB on the roster that can limit him and give him fits like Byron Jones did. Ted Ginn will return to action for this game. And Alvin Kamara is still Alvin Kamara. Most importantly, Drew Brees is still stupid good. The Eagles will likely have to come up with a game plan to take away/limit Michael Thomas but mix up a lot of coverages elsewhere. Either way, they need to add some variety in what they do while playing disciplined enough to take away the big play. Despite the increasingly positive play from the secondary as a whole it is still not a good enough unit to shut down the Saints offense. They'll need to work off the pass rush and play smart football to try and force the Saints into mistakes. And frankly, it'll come down to guys like Nigel Bradham not getting worked by lesser talents like Dan Arnold again.
Eagles Offensive Line vs Saints Pass Rush
This is another fun matchup for those interested in trench warfare as the elite Eagles offensive line battles the Saints fun pass rush. The Saints group is led by All Pro Cameron Jordan and budding star Sheldon Rankins. This is as formidable a pass rush duo as you'll find in the NFL. Both have the ability to generate a lot of heat on the QB and make big plays against opposing offenses. You'll see defensive coordinator Dennis Allen be very creative with both rushers - especially Jordan - by lining them up all over the formation. The rest of the Saints defensive front features a number of quality pass rushers the Eagles offensive line will face. Common perception after the Bears game was that the offensive line completely shut down Khalil Mack; while Mack didn't make any impact plays in pass rush he was still a factor. The Eagles OL rose to the occasion against a talented Bears front and limited them from making a huge impact even though they made some plays elsewhere. That's what the Eagles offensive line needs to do again and they are very capable of doing that. Additionally, the quicker time to throw as an offensive philosophical shift will help slow down the impact of the Saints pass rush group. Allowing the QB to think and play fast also protects the OL. When you have an OL as talented as the Eagles that can go a long way to having success. I would expect the Eagles to continue with what they have been doing while ensuring they eliminate Cameron Jordan from the equation. He's their best defensive player and pass rusher; minimizing his impact can help control the game. It won't be an easy task but it is the smart one. The OL just needs to make sure it accounts for the other rushers as well.
